Just because summer is coming to a close, it doesn’t mean the fun has to stop! September in Ridgefield has a fantastic lineup of activities, concerts, gallery shows and so much more. So, welcome autumn and enjoy everything Ridgefield has to offer this month. 

Jazz, Funk, and Blues Weekend 2019
Downtown Ridgefield
September 5th-8th
Enjoy a four-day event of jazz, funk, and blues throughout town. This jazz-filled weekend is one of Ridgefield’s premiere events.

Neil Simon’s Last of the Red Hot Lovers
Ridgefield Theater Barn
September 6th-28th
This classic comedy stars Barney Cashman in a mid-life crisis, as he tries to seduce three different women in his mother’s apartment.

2nd Annual Ridgefield Wine Week
Ridgefield, CT
September 8th-15th
Enjoy a week of all things wine from Ridgefield’s restaurants and liquor stores. End the week with the Sunset Wine Party at the Lounsbury House.

Ridgefield Recreation Center
September 13th
Join the fun and get to know Ridgefield. Ridgefest will have live music, local food trucks, activities for the kids, trivia games and so much more.

Under the Harvest Moon 2019
Woodcock Nature Center
September 13th
Come take part in an evening to benefit the Woodcock Nature Center. Enjoy food from Chef Sarah Bouissou, a wine tasting from Ridgefield’s Cellar XV Wines, a craft beer tasting and a silent and live auction.

The Fall Party
Keeler Tavern Museum and History Center
September 14th
Enjoy a festive fundraiser event at the Keeler Tavern. Enjoy the rooftop bar, silent and live auctions, lawn games, acrobatic entertainment and more!

Where the Pavement Ends
South Shore Drive/Lake Windwing
September 15th
Experience a challenging and fun 4.25-mile trail race that starts and finished at Lake Windwing. Enjoy this technical, winding course through Ridgefield’s Hemlock Hills.

Sunset Wine Party
Lounsbury House
September 15th
Sip, repeat and support the community at the Sunset Wine Party. The proceeds go to the Ridgefield Food Pantry. Listen to music as you sip some fabulous wines.

September 20th-22nd
The annual Ridgefield Carnival is here! Enjoy rides, food, games, and lots of family fun.

Sundays at the Peter Parley Schoolhouse
Ridgefield Historical Society
September 29th
Step back in time into the 18th century Peter Parley Schoolhouse. Get a guided tour and find out more about Peter Parley, its most famous “scholar”. Play with antique toys, write with quill pens, and wear a three-corner hat. Find out which of Ridgefield’s twelve little red schoolhouses was closest to you!

2019 Pamby Ridgefield Half Marathon and 7 Miler
Ridgefield Half Marathon

This iconic race will feature the popular start and finish area at the Boys and Girls Club of Ridgefield. Race central will feature live music, food and beer (21+) for all finishers, and an area for all to celebrate the accomplishments of the day.

5th Annual Family Day

Enjoy treats, games, prizes, crafts, circus acts, music and much more in honor of the 5th Annual Family Day.

Ridgefield’s older adult community is invited to attend a wonderful Senior Luncheon in the historic Lounsbury House. Enjoy a three-course catered lunch from a local restaurant and some special performances.
