Where the Pavement Ends Trail Races benefitting the Ridgefield Conservation Commission are set for Sunday, September 10, 2023!

Yes, that’s races with an ‘s’! You can do one loop of the course or do two loops for a “Pavement Double”! This race is a part of the Trail Mix – Westchester-Fairfield Trail Series: A series of seven trail races. Results are combined from all the races to determine a series winner and award special prizes.

Pavement Single starts at 7:30 AM
Pavement Double starts at 6:30 AM

The race starts and ends at Lake Windwing ballfields in Ridgefield, CT. The 4.25 mile course (single loop) and 8-miler (approximate double loop) runs through the Hemlock Hills/Pine Mountain open space areas. It’s technical, rocky, and sublime. The 4.25 mile course is “the original” race with the double loop open for more experienced trail runners.
