Ridgefield Fireworks 2023 New Date!
NEW DATE! Sunday, July 9th
Ridgefield High School

Come celebrate our independence at the Town of Ridgefield Fireworks on Sunday, July 9 at Ridgefield High School. Gates open at 6 pm and Fireworks begin at dusk. Parking passes are $20 per car. Stop by our food trucks for a delicious dinner or treat!

CHIRP Concerts
Monday, July 3rd & Tuesday, July 4th
Ballard Park

CHIRP’s outdoor family concerts are free and open to the public every Tuesday and Thursday throughout the summer at Ballard Park – with an extra performance on Monday, July 3rd! Tune in for blues man Harry Manx on July 3rd at 7:00pm and The Fairfield Counts on July 4th at 4:00pm. View full schedule of concerts

Celebrate community, independence, and the 57th anniversary of Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center’s opening day on July 4th! This annual event is a fun and patriotic Ridgefield tradition, with activities for the whole family including a new exhibit in the Gilbert Wing, a sitewide scavenger hunt, live music, games and crafts, and a coordinated bell ringing at 2:00pm.

Aldrich After Hours

The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum

We’re back with another bi-monthly Aldrich After Hours on the first Friday! The galleries will be open late, DJ PTM the Golden Kid will play a live set of globally infused tracks inspired by the work in the galleries, there will be mini tours of the exhibitions led by Executive Director Cybele Maylone, and wine and beer for sale.

Summer Benefit Concert for Cancer Research

Candlewood Lake Foundation presents TGIF: A Decades Concert to benefit cancer research with performances by Rubix Kube & Saved by the 90s! Proceeds from this year’s concert will be donated to the V Foundation. CLF is proud to partner with the V Foundation, supporting their mission to fight cancer on the front lines with cutting edge research.

A Garden of Verse: Poetry in the KTM&HC Gardens

Our popular summer poetry reading series is back for another year! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of poetry in a beautiful setting. Hosted by Ridgefield Poet Laureate Emeritus Barb Jennes, featuring poets Jennifer Franklin and Sean Singer. Upcoming readings: July 24th and August 7th.

Nashville-based Mat Kearney is back for the first time since his sold out show in 2019. This time, Kearney presents a new album, January Flower. Written between an isolated retreat in Joshua Tree and his home studio, January Flower sees Kearney in his rawest form, distilling the songwriting process and rediscovering the joy of making music.

D.Colabella Fine Arts has selected three artists for the next exhibition, Icons & Rock N’ Roll. With the eye-catching pop art of Frankie Vinci, the unique and functional guitars made of reclaimed material by Time Sway, and the sports icon photography of Greg Cohen, this exhibition will be an exploration of the power of American entertainment.

This exhibition will showcase the artwork of Josh Allison of American Metal Customs. For the first time ever, RPAC Gallery will have hand-crafted motorcycles displayed with the photography of Sumner Dilworth on the walls. This exhibit will be on display through September 10, 2023.

Thrown Stone Presents “Seven Cousins for a Horse”

Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance

Join Thrown Stone for their limited run of Seven Cousins for a Horse which finds Ammi Phillips, the most prolific folk artist in American history, at a low point. His cousins invite him back to his hometown of Colebrook, CT, offering a sturdy horse in exchange for seven portraits of the family. But, just like America, change is afoot with his relatives. As Ammi captures their likenesses, can he paint a new path for himself?

Music at the Mansion is an arts and cultural collaboration with the intent of offering chamber music of the highest artistic quality accessibly, while sharing the history and beauty of one of Ridgefield’s most treasured landmarks. “Summering with the Gilberts” Exhibit

This exhibit explores life at the “Cannon Ball House” in the early 20th century with a focus on both the Gilbert family members and the staff, and learn more about the immigrant experience in Ridgefield, brought to life through compelling photography by Joseph Hartmann.
