Music is in the Air! Celebrate Make Music 2022 in Ridgefield

Make Music Day

Make Music Day is a worldwide celebration of music with over 1,000 cities participating from around the globe. It all started over 40 years ago when the Ministry of Culture in France imagined a day filled with free live music at street corners and storefronts, parks and gardens, and rooftops and mountaintops. They hosted their first “Fête de la Musique” in 1982, and since then the tradition has spread throughout the world.

This year, Ridgefield is celebrating in a big way!
The Ridgefield Arts Council invites you to celebrate Make Music Day with Music & Art In The Park on Sunday, June 19th and Make Music Day on Tuesday, June 21st all around Ridgefield! Make Music Day truly shines a light on the abundant arts and culture talent here in Ridgefield as hundreds of participating musicians all come together to celebrate the joy of music. Both events are free and open to the public to enjoy!
