Event Details

Join us for Make Music Day Ridgefield on Tuesday, June 21st!

Make Music Ridgefield is a part of the international Make Music Day movement which brings free, community-wide, outdoor musical celebrations to hundreds of cities worldwide! Every year, the celebration is held on June 21, the summer solstice, in more than 1000 communities around the world. Everyone is invited to participate in this international day of music by performing, providing an outdoor space, appreciating, or volunteering, either in person or online. It’s all for the love of music!

Make Music Ridgefield is brought to you by the Ridgefield Arts Council as part of our mission to generate attention for Ridgefield’s vibrant arts community. We hope to inform, entertain and inspire those who appreciate and create art in all its genres.

Make Music Day Ridgefield is orchestrated by the Ridgefield Arts Council. Donations and sponsorships are tax-deductible. The event is FREE and open to the public. Our gracious sponsors and individual contributions make it all possible. We are looking for volunteers to help set up stages, provide information, run the sound system at shows, or help clean up. These are just a few of the many things you can do to help. We welcome people of all ages and experiences! We will also be providing other musical activities, free music lessons, and an opportunity to donate any instruments to inspire new musicians of all ages.

If you have any questions, please contact our Arts Council Members: Jennifer Dineen (484)639-7141 or Pamme Jones (203)240-6268 or email: [email protected]
