An Afternoon Tea with the Cast of Little Women

In celebration of Women’s History Month and Ridgefield High School’s upcoming production of Little Women: The Broadway Musical, the community is invited to an afternoon tea in the Garden House. The event is inspired by the 1860s setting of Louisa May Alcott’s beloved story of four sisters growing up in Civil War-era New England.

RSO Quartet in Concert

Join the RSO Quartet in concert for a fun evening of great music at the newly renovated and expanded Ridgefield Theater Barn. The quartet, featuring the RSO’s four principal string players, will perform a marvelous selection of chamber music on stage in the lovely, intimate main theater.

First Sunday at Keeler Tavern Museum

This March, activities in the Garden House are all about weaving and DIY lap looms! Other activities include watercolor painting and plenty of children’s books – a perfect afternoon to cozy up next to the fireplace. Drop in any time between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to participate.

Exploring Local Habitats: Freshwater Streams and Life Within Them

Come learn about the importance of our local freshwater streams and the critters that call them home! Presenters from Woodcock Nature Center and the Ridgefield Conservation Commission will talk about stream ecology and health, as well as share what the Conservation Commission is doing to monitor these habitats in our local preserves.

Camerata d’Amici’s Winter Concert

Camerata d’Amici performs an exceptionally diverse repertoire, featuring both the new and the traditional, the sacred and the secular, the familiar and the surprising. Hearts of Hope 16th Annual Breakfast

The Hearts of Hope Annual Breakfast allows friends of The Center for Empowerment and Education (CEE) to unite and honor the work done each year to meet their mission. This is one of their major annual fundraisers to raise critical funds to support their no-cost and confidential services. During our Hearts of Hope, supporters enjoy a delicious breakfast overlooking Candlewood Lake and hear a powerful message from survivors.

Little Women: The Broadway Musical

March 8th & 9th and March 15th & 16th

Ridgefield High School Visual and Performing Arts presents Little Women: The Broadway Musical which brings to life Louisa May Alcott’s autobiographical novel about her family during the Civil War featuring her four sisters — traditional Meg, wild, aspiring writer Jo, timid Beth, and romantic Amy.

An Evening of One Acts

Opens Saturday, March 8th

Following on the heels of their wildly successful and sold out run of Clue, Ridgefield Theater Barn will open their ever popular production of An Evening of One Acts featuring 8 short original unpublished works selected by the One Acts Committee from over 250 submitted plays from playwrights both local and across the globe.

Join us for food, fun, community, games as well as a special youth workshop, Beyond Queer Stereotypes: a Youth Workshop on Representation in the Media led by Rachel Simon from TCC. This event is FREE and is open to all LGBTQ teens and allies in grades 6th – 12th. Dinner and refreshments will be served. No RSVP is required.

“A JOURNEY” by Kimberly Wilson

Kimberly Wilson is coming to Keeler Tavern Museum for a powerful performance of “A JOURNEY” Musical One-Woman Show, followed by an audience talkback. Wilson is the award-winning creator and actor of “A JOURNEY,” where she uses song, movement, and dialogue to tell the stories of seven Black women whose lives span hundreds of years.

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET

ACT of CT

Due to the overwhelming response, ACT of Connecticut has extended MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET through March 23!
This musical tells the story of an extraordinary twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together for what would be one of the greatest jam sessions in rock and roll history. Get your tickets for performances on Thursday – Sunday evenings!

An Evening of Funny, Honey and Hope

Join the Center for Empowerment and Education for a fun evening featuring comedians Hanna Dickinson, Barbara Miller, and Laurie Newkirk. This fundraiser will help support The Center’s no-cost and confidential services offered to anyone experiencing domestic or sexual violence in Northern Fairfield and Southern Litchfield Counties.

The Machine Performs Pink Floyd- Dark Side of the Weekend
