Join artist Loie Hollowell for a virtual conversation with Chief Curator Amy Smith-Stewart on the work and ideas behind Loie Hollowell: Space Between, A Survey of Ten Years. This exhibition is the artist’s first museum presentation on the East Coast including paintings, works on paper, and new pastel drawings.

For over seventy years, Ridgefield and Caudatowa Garden Clubs have joined forces to run a May Plant Sale featuring vegetables, tomatoes, herbs, perennials, annuals, gift baskets and proven plants from members’ gardens for sale. We hope to see you there, rain or shine!

30th Annual Cannonball Gala

Keeler Tavern Museum and History Center

This year’s Cannonball Gala will honor Tina and Don Sturges, longtime museum supporters and engaged community members. Attendees will enjoy cocktails and dinner in the museum’s historic walled garden, musical entertainment by the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra, live and silent auctions, and more.

Run Like a Mother 5K

The Run Like a Mother 5K race starts at The Ridgefield Playhouse and ends at Ballard Park, and is welcoming to both beginner and experienced runners alike. At Ballard Park we’ll have a family celebration area with runner refreshments and activities for the kids. There will be plenty of places for your family and friends to spectate, so tell them to get their poster-making skills ready!

Visit the Museum for free as part of our Third Saturdays program. Participate in a Story Time at 10:30 am, a Discovery Tour of Loie Hollowell, Esther Ruiz, Elizabeth Englander, and Layo Bright’s exhibitions at 1 pm, and drop-in to The Studio for art-making activities.

Inextinguishable Documentary & Performance

Documentary screening and musical performance in remembrance of the Holocaust. Based on the book “The Inextinguishable Symphony: A True Story of Music and Love in Nazi Germany. Discussion with author Martin Goldsmith and special musical performance.

Camerata d’Amici Spring Concert

St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church

This spring concert, conducted by Kristin Sponheim, will feature compositions that convey the hope and optimism of spring, including “Fresh and Fearless” by Daniel Elder, “Now Touch the Air Softly” by Susan LaBarr, and more arranged by Shawn Kirchner. The concert will also feature the New England premiere of “Silver Dagger,” composed by former Ridgefielder Amelia Wellers, and sung by the women of Camerata.

ACT of CT Presents “Kinky Boots”

Memorial Day Parade

Monday, May 27th
Town of Ridgefield

Join us in Ridgefield for the Annual Memorial Day Parade in Ridgefield! The parade begins at 11:30am with a rifle salute at the veterans monument in front of Jesse Lee Memorial United Methodist Church and concludes with ceremonies at Ballard Park.
