We are excited to announce our 2024 Guide to Summer Camps in Ridgefield! Parents will be sure to find a wonderful camp experience for kids of all ages and interests this summer… from art to sports, theater, nature, history, and much more. Ridgefield Academy
A summer of fun awaits! Ridgefield Academy/Landmark Preschool’s 2024 Summer Programs offer exciting learning opportunities and classic summer fun for children ages 2-14. Whether your child is a budding baker or artist, a sports enthusiast, or an eager learner, there is a morning, afternoon, or full-day session designed to engage every child!
Camp Landmark
Selected Camp Landmark spots are available! Campers ages 2-5 will enjoy art projects, story time, and creative movement activities enhanced by weekly themes such as “Calling All Superheroes” and “Young at Art.” As part of this early learning experience, campers will thrive as they play, socialize, and explore together. This fun-filled camp features age-appropriate playgrounds, water play areas, spacious classrooms, and a Kitchen Lab.
Explorer Programs
Designed for students in Grades 4-8, RA’s Explorer Programs, provide the opportunity for students to hone their skills in athletics, build their creativity in the arts, and try out new activities in a fun summer camp setting. The Explorer Programs feature sports camps taught by professional coaches, art and baking programs, and an SSAT prep course to review essential test-taking strategies. Explorer Programs run weekly from June 24 to August 15, with both morning and afternoon sessions available.
Spotlight On: Knead To Bake? Join us as we spend the afternoon in the RA Kitchen Lab whipping, chopping, mixing, and kneading to make a variety of delicious foods! In this Explorer Program, students will make fun recipes to add to their cookbook of favorite baked goods.
Spotlight On: Nike Soccer Camp with Liverpool International Academy. Learn how to train and play ‘The Liverpool Way’ this summer at the Nike Soccer Camp with Liverpool FC International Academy! Camp curriculum emphasizes the four LFC Values and Role Models, and highlights a mix of technical and tactical training, small-sided competitions, and fun off-field activities. Our professional coaching staff includes trainers joining us from the Liverpool Academy in the UK who have worked with some of the best young players in the world. Sure to be a summer highlight, these camps offer a unique opportunity for soccer players aged 7-14, to train with a world-renowned club and to experience firsthand the LFC training philosophy in a FUN and engaging camp setting!

ACT of CT Summer Stars Showcase 2024
A cast of students from incoming 2nd to 6th grades together for two weeks to rehearse and perform a fully-staged musical on the ACT of CT campus. These young stars will learn basic musical theatre skills including beginning vocal technique, choreography, and improvisation. Additional theatre activities and workshops will be incorporated into the daily rehearsals schedule including theatre games and special guests. Learn more
Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield
The Boys & Girls Club is a safe place to learn and grow – all while having fun! Boys & Girls Club Summer Camp will be held from Monday, June 24th through Friday, August 16th, 2024 from 8am to 5pm. Camp Aldrich
Camp Aldrich is a full-day, week-long arts experience with Museum Educators and a practicing teaching artist. Campers explore the Museum’s three-acre campus, learn in the galleries, and incorporate the world around them into their art. Each week, campers are guided through art-making workshops and activities led by a professional, practicing artist and our dedicated team of camp counselors. Summer 2024 sessions will be held Monday, July 15th through Friday, August 2nd. Learn more
Keeler Kids
Each year, KTM&HC’s week-long summer programs offer children a unique chance to explore local history through the lens of our museum stories. In 2024, the theme is History Detectives. Kids will work together to solve the Mystery of the Missing Cannonball, using historian-inspired skills (archeology! document analysis! storytelling!) to find clues. Ridgefield Parks & Recreation
Campers will have a fantastic time playing games, creating artwork, exploring the outdoors, and making new friends. The age appropriate groups are facilitated by trained, experienced, and dedicated staff members. All children will participate in sports, games, arts & crafts, water fun, nature exploration, and team building activities. Early Bird Discount is available from March 1st – 15th. Learn more

Woodcock Nature Center
Campers will enjoy exploring Woodcock Nature Center’s 150-acre preserve as experienced environmental educators teach conservation and awareness of our natural environment through animal encounters, nature crafts, hiking, kayaking on our pond, wilderness skills and so much more.
