Here is how you can help those in need and what folks around town have been up to. Services Being Offered:
- CompassionateRidgefield is helping seniors by getting groceries or lending a friendly ear, call (203) 431-7000 for assistance or if you are a neighbor willing to help a senior, please email [email protected] with “Caring Neighbor” in the subject line.
- Meals on Wheels Ridgefield is helping community members, if you would like to help please [email protected].
- Sprinkle Kindness Notes, organized by Amy Schmit of @fearlessly.facing.fifty and Tara of @taxler14 are collecting notes for those that are feeling isolated and alone in nursing homes and other facilities. Message either Amy or Tara for info about where to drop off your notes!
- Recess Playworks is offering free online instructional art classes and activity kits for kids, available for curbside pick up!
- The Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center invites you to the Gilberts-in-the-Gardens Walking Tour to get outside and take the four-acre, self-guided tour – free admission!
- Ridgefield Library has online resources available, including access to downloadable e-books & audiobooks – go to ridgefieldlibrary.org to check them out!
- ACT of Connecticut and The Ridgefield Playhouse will livestream a star-studded performance, this Friday at 8pm on Facebook Live! The performance will be “Beautiful City” hosted by ACT’s Artistic Director Daniel C. Levine, Ridgefield Playhouse Executive Director Allison Stockel, and ACT’s Executive Director Katie Diamond. Plus a special appearance by Ridgefield’s First Selectman Rudy Marconi. Tune in this Friday!
- Dance Factory Ridgefield is hosting a virtual dance challenge, the winner will be revealed Tuesday, March 17th and will receive a free DFR Spring Recital tee shirt! Take a look at more information about how to participate on their Instagram!
- JoyRide Studio is offering free online classes through Instagram Live every day at 10AM! No equipment necessary. Take a look at the schedule here!
- Ridgefield Running Company is offering free delivery for their in-store items, as well as the Kids Quest Challenge to make sure you and your kids can get moving outside! Take a look at their Instagram page for more information.
