With Mother’s Day just around the corner, we wanted to make sure you can make the most of it in Ridgefield! There are plenty of ways to make Mother’s Day special for the mom (or moms!) in your life.

Share A Special Meal

While no one will be dining out on Mother’s Day weekend, we can certainly make it feel like a dining out experience at home! Pick up brunch for mom and the family from Tazza Cafe along with fresh bread and Mother’s Day macarons from Ross Bread. Also, Bernard’s has also debuted their Champagne Brunch Bag, perfect for Mom who likes a little bubbly!

For a full course family dinner make sure to look at the special Mother’s Day menus at Terra Sole, The Barn Door, and The Hideaway. And don’t forget about dessert from The Cake Box or Deborah Ann’s Sweet Shoppe!

Activities for Mom and the Kids

If you and the kids want to get crafty, pick up a Mother’s Day Activity Kit from Recess Playworks to create something from the heart that mom will cherish for years to come as the kids grow. Recess Playworks is offering a Flower Plant & Grow Kit, DIY Birdhouse Kits, Windchime Kit, Cookie Decorating Kit, and the Spring Activity Kit. Additionally, you can pick up a Bracelet Bead Kit from Zoe & Co Sugarbeads so the kids and mom can make something together and enjoy quality time!

If the kids love art, you can also pick up a blank canvas from Ridgefield Guild of Artists to participate in the Community Art Project and create something together for the Ridgefield community.

And if the weather’s nice and you’re looking to get some fresh air, the whole family can participate in the Keeler Ravern’s Self-Guided Walking Tour or simply go for a walk around Ballard Park or Bennett’s Pond State Park.

A Gift of Appreciation

To make sure mom feels special on her day of the year, give her a gift she will love! Take a look at the beautiful selection of clothing and accessories at Lucy’s where you can Window Shop on Main Street and order online for curbside pick up, or get stylish accessories from Olley Court and Audrey Road!

If you want to gift something timeless and classy, Addessi Jewelers and Craig’s Fine Jewelry have beautiful pieces of jewelry to choose from! Books on the Common is also a perfect spot to get mom that new book she’s been thinking about, and while you’re placing your order you can also ask about the special Mother’s Day necklaces they have.

And if you want to give the gift of relaxation, be sure to pick up a gift card for any of our wonderful salons in town to get a mani-pedi once they open, or gift Mom a massage from Susi Laura Massage for a future date. For some handcrafted bath and body products made locally, check out the gift boxes from Rustic Ridge Bath Co.

And last but not least, don’t forget the flowers. Place an order for a bouquet with Flower Girl or Rodier Flowers, or simply stop by Ridgefield Organics to help mom feel the love on her special day!
