About
The Ridgefield Rail Trail follows an old rail corridor for 2.3 miles from downtown Ridgefield to the Branchville section of town. Connecticut Light and Power constructed the trail in 2000 in order to enhance the town’s open space and to give residents a place to safely walk, jog, and enjoy Ridgefield’s beautiful natural surroundings. Parking for the trail can be found on Haplin Lane and at the Ridgefield Playhouse.
