Hemlock Hills area of Ridgefield spans 421 acres and includes the majestic Lake Windwing and Miry Brook River. There are a wide variety of trails that run throughout Hemlock Hills and feature Ridgefield’s serene landscapes. Rocky-high tops, wooded hillsides, and wetlands can be seen from all points along the trails. Hikers and walkers will also encounter a unique mix of Ridgefield’s flora and fauna as they make their way through Hemlock Hills. Trail entrances can be found at North Shore Drive, Ned’s Mountain Road, South Shore Drive ball field, and Pine Mountain Road.
