Ridgefield Summer Camps 2020

Summer has arrived and everyone is excited to spend time outdoors and enjoy everything that the summer months have to offer – especially our kids! This year, many camps will look a little different due to COVID-19 regulations but there are still great camp options available in Ridgefield thanks to our many organizations. There’s a fun camp for every child this summer, listed below!

Bach 2 Rock Ridgefield: Summer Camp Programs
Back 2 Rock is offering Online Music Mini-Camps for children of all ages. For all camps, students will need a device (mobile, tablet or computer) compatible with Zoom. Small group in school camps are also available, spaces are limited. To register or find out more click here.

Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield: Summer Camp
Update May 2020: All camper spots have been filled for Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield.

Enchanted Garden
Enchanted Garden will be offering Summer Music Immersion as well as Nuts About Nutcracker Dance Camp. More information to follow, check back or visit Enchanted Garden for more details!

Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center: 2020 Summer Programs
Join us this summer as we take our popular history summer camp online while still offering an afternoon of organized outdoor games on-site that follow strict social distancing guidelines. Recess Playworks: Kids Virtual Summer Camp
Recess PlayWork’s art classes offer fun, excitement, creativity and social interaction. Starting Monday, 6/29, they will have outdoor art classes 9-10am ($25) and starting Monday, 7/6, they will have both indoor and outdoor classes. ($25/class or $115/week). For a break from the summer sun, order the “Art Box” with 3 or 5 days of art projects and art supplies, zoom art classes, and home delivery. Ridgefield Guild of Artists: Summer Programs

The Ridgefield Guild of Artists will have a fun filled summer art experience for your child. It will be a general all around art program with a different theme each week. Some activities will include wearable art, murals, make your own stickers, kinetic art, paper sculpture, clay casting, cyanotypes, decoupage, batik, silkscreen, water balloon art. Ridgefield Parks & Recreation: Adventure Day Camp 2020
Adventure Day Camp will only be available to Ridgefield residents entering grades 1-8 this year. Campers will have a fantastic time playing games, creating artwork, exploring the outdoors, and making new friends. The age appropriate groups are facilitated by trained, experienced, and dedicated staff members. All children will participate in sports, games, arts & crafts, water fun, nature exploration, and team building activities. Ridgefield Theater Barn: Summer 2020 Musical Theater Workshops
The Theater Barn Kids Summer 2020 Musical Theater Workshops are designed for students going into Grades 3 through 9. Students will work with Program Director Missy Slaymaker-Hanlon and Musical Directors Stefano Peña & Anya Caravella to learn the skills they need to perform their own musical revue. Woodcock Nature Center: Summer Uncharted Program
Summer camp will be available through the “Summer Uncharted” program for children in grades 7-8, held Mondays through Fridays from 9:30am to 3:00pm. Please read the What to Expect This Summer memo for additional information. Two additional weeks of camp will be held on June 29th and August 17th – registration coming soon!
