Elvis Presley Birthday Bash with Nathaniel Hintz

NEW DATE: Sunday, January 14th
Nod Hill Brewery
Nathaniel Hintz channels the King for a night of musical celebration, along with originals and other covers. Nathaniel Hintz is a singer/songwriter from Connecticut whose influences coms from Country & Western, Rock & Roll, and Gospel music. His Southern New England twang has been heard at breweries, festivals, and music venues throughout the United States.

First Sunday

Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center

This event has been postponed due to the impending snowstorm. First Sunday is a free monthly program for all ages! Head to the museum for fun activities in the Garden House. This month’s activities are all about hand sewing: make your own stuffed animals and embroidery! Other activities include watercolor painting and plenty of children’s books.

Alice Paul Day Celebration

Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center

The League of Women Voters of Ridgefield will be celebrating “Ridgefield’s Radical” suffragist Alice Paul’s 139th birthday. Come learn about Alice at this special event with special guests: CT State Senators Julie Kushner and Ceci Maher, and CT State Representatives Aimee Berger-Girvalo and Keith Denning. The event is free and open to the public.

Preview Day Open House: Kindergarten – Grade 8

Thursday, January 11th
Ridgefield Academy

Find out firsthand what the RA experience is all about! Families interested in Kindergarten – Grade 8 are invited to preview a day at RA from 8:45 – 11:00 am on Thursday, January 11th. This event will feature a panel with students from Lower, Middle, and Upper School, and classes will be open for observation.

Celebrate! 50 Years of Art Member Themed Show

Opens January 13th
Ridgefield Guild of Artists

The Ridgefield Guild of Artists was formed by a group of local artists 50 years ago in 1974. It was a different time, but they had a vision of an organization with a lasting mission: to bring art to the area, provide a place for artists to gather, a place to show their work, and make connections. This exhibit will be on display through February 11th.

The Genesis Show – Lyceum Ballroom Show London 1980

The Genesis Show is the only Genesis Tribute Band in the US dedicated to recreating the Phil Collins era of Genesis, specifically focusing on the ’76-’82 Tours. This electric concert experience brings all the power, groove, and excitement that Genesis brought to the stage.

28th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration honors the legacy of the great civil rights leader. Along with entertainment by local performers and organizations such as SPHERE, The Ridgefield Chorale, actress Kimberly Wilson and more, The Spirit of Dr. King Community Service Award is presented each year to a member of our town

Wine, Cheese & Chamber Chat with Ridgefield Historical Society

Join the Ridgefield Chamber of Commerce for a chat with the Ridgefield Historical Society. Immerse yourself in the rich history of our town while savoring delicious wine and cheese selections. Hosted in partnership with the Lounsbury House. This event is free and open to all.

Opening Reception for “Light Moments” Exhibit

RPAC Gallery is excited to present “Light Moments” Exhibit featuring Mike Abramyan and RPAC Resident Artists. The exhibit will be on display from January 18, 2024 – March 10, 2024. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2024 from 6:00pm-9:00pm.

Opening Reception for “Bound by Plastic” Exhibit

D. Colabella Fine Art Gallery

Come and visit the new show at the D. Colabella Fine Art Gallery, Bound by Plastic by Meredith Mulhearn in collaboration with photographer Sissela Johansson and musician Andy Leech. The Opening Reception will be held from 6:00pm – 9:00pm. All ticket sales support plastic cleanup initiatives. The exhibit will be on display from January 18th – March 10th, 2024.

After Dark Adventure Fundraiser

Students in Grades 3-5 are invited to an exclusive After Dark Adventure! Campers will arrive for this fundraising event after the Library closes to the public and join their fellow campers in a one-of-a-kind experience that includes flashlight tag, fishing, archery, s’more making, live night creatures, hot dogs from Chez Lenard and a host of camping goodies to take home.

Fix You: A Tribute To Coldplay

Fix You pays tribute to one of the most successful and world-renowned bands working today, Coldplay. Instead of being an act of imitation, Fix You pours themselves into every song and performance out of their genuine love for the group’s music. Music at the Mansion presents Peter and Kara Dugan, in association with Lounsbury House and the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra. The Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra, celebrated for their artistic innovation, will accompany the Dugans, adding a rich orchestral dimension to the evening.

The Wizard of Oz – 85th Anniversary

Celebrate the 85th Anniversary of The Wizard of Oz! When a tornado rips through Kansas, Dorothy (Judy Garland) and her dog, Toto, are whisked away in their house to the magical land of Oz. They meet a Scarecrow (Ray Bolger) that needs a brain, a Tin Man (Jack Haley) missing a heart, and a Cowardly Lion (Bert Lahr) who wants courage.
