NEW LOCATION FOR JOHN PAPA GROS CONCERT – RIDGEFIELD HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM!
ChirpCT is relocating our John Papa Gros concert this evening to the Ridgefield High School auditorium located at 700 North Salem Road. Time is 7:00 p.m. With air quality conditions being what they are, we are committed to the safety of our performers and our audience. We encourage you to come on out and join us for Mr. New Orleans himself, John “Papa” Gros. and his very lively band playing the best of New Orleans jazz, r&b, funk etc.
John Papa Gros – For over 30 years he’s brought the celebratory culture of New Orleans to audiences around the globe. Funk, trad jazz, brass band, blues – he mixes them all and makes his own joyful music.

About CHIRP
CHIRP is an acronym for Concert Happenings in Ridgefield’s Parks and was begun in the summer of 2002 to foster a stronger sense of community among residents and to enhance Ridgefield’s much treasured “small town feel.” Its concerts seek to bring townspeople together in a relaxed atmosphere comfortable for people of every economic strata, age bracket and ethnicity. Its mission is to afford them the opportunity to hear and hopefully to enjoy a variety of world and alternative music only infrequently performed in this area.
