Art in Common: Charcoal Drawing One-Day Workshop

Join us on Sunday February 4th, 2024 from 12 noon – 3:00 pm for our Charcoal Drawing One Day Workshop with Lilah Heyman.

Students will create a charcoal still life drawing from life. This workshop is perfect for beginner artists who haven’t worked with charcoal in the past, as well as for artists who have experience with charcoal but are looking to improve their work. When working with charcoal, students will learn about tonal value, building volumetric forms, and blending while also learning the foundations of drawing, such as line, perspective, and composition.
