Annual Mother's Day Plant Sale

Every year Caudatowa Garden Club and the RIdgefield Garden Club team up to hold their annual plant sale at Ballard Greenhouse. The planting begins with seeds and bare root plantings in February and continues up to the weekend of the sale in May. The offerings include:

~ Diggings and Donations: Tried and true plants from garden club members’ gardens
~ Annuals and Perennials: Proven winners with gardeners on hand to help you select plants for your own garden
~ Beautiful flowering hanging baskets & fresh herbs
~ Tomatoes, Vegetables, flowering bulbs and tubers grown in Ballard Greenhouse
~ Garden Shop: Beautiful baskets and gifts designed by garden club members. Great for Mother’s Day gifts!

Proceeds from the sale are used by the clubs to benefit community gardens, local scholarships as well as many beautification and conservation projects throughout the town of Ridgefield.
