Our popular summer poetry reading series is back for another year! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of poetry in a beautiful setting. Hosted by Ridgefield Poet Laureate Emeritus Barb Jennes.
Featuring poets Nicole Callihan and Iain Haley Pollock.
Nicole Callihan, a frequent collaborator with poets and actors, writes poems, stories, and essays. Her latest poetry collection This Strange Garment (Terrapin 2023) navigates her journey through treatment of bilateral breast cancer. Callihan taught expository writing at NYU for 20 years.
Iain Haley Pollock is the author of the NAACP Image Award-nominated Ghost, Like a Place (Alice James Books 2018) and Spit Back a Boy (2011), winner of the Cave Canem Poetry Prize. Pollock currently directs the MFA Program at Manhattanville College.
