Join us for the series finale of our popular summer poetry reading series! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy an evening of poetry in a beautiful setting. Hosted by Ridgefield Poet Laureate Emeritus Barb Jennes.

Featuring Antoinette Brim-Bell and Terry Blackhawk.

Antoinette Brim-Bell, Connecticut’s 8th State Poet Laureate, is the author of three full-length poetry collections: These Women You Gave Me, Icarus in Love, and Psalm of the Sunflower. She is a Cave Canem Foundation Fellow and an alumna of Voices of Our Nations Arts Foundation (VONA).

Terry Blackhawk is a poet, educator, and founder of Detroit’s InsideOut Literary Arts Project. Her many poetry collections and chapbooks include One Less River (Mayapple Press 2019) and Escape Artist, selected by Molly Peacock to win the 2002 John Ciardi Prize.

This poetry program series is co-sponsored by the Manhattanville College MFA in Writing Program.
