Poetry in the Garden

July 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th
Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center

Poetry in the Garden is back for another summer season! The series, produced by Ridgefield Poet Laureate Emerita Barb Jennes, will feature some of the nation’s leading poets. Join us in the beautiful historic walled garden for weekly readings on Mondays in July.

“Getting” Contemporary Art: Layo Bright, Elizabeth Englander, and Loie Hollowell

The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum

Through this three-session course, participants will engage deeply with the current exhibitions while having access to our galleries and the learning space in private evening sessions. Designed to provoke open and dynamic dialogue, participants will analyze, interpret, and discuss the contemporary artwork.

Visit the Museum for free on the third Saturday of every month as part of our Third Saturdays program. Participate in a Story Time at 10:30 am, a Discovery Tour of Loie Hollowell, Elizabeth Englander, Layo Bright, and Esther Ruiz’s exhibitions at 1 pm, and drop-in to The Studio for art-making activities.

8th Annual Bernie Williams Day Celebrity Softball Game

KICKS Public Art is an event where local citizens and businesses can purchase fiberglass resin sneaker sculptures to decorate in any and every way possible to be displayed all over Ridgefield, CT. All proceeds from the event will be donated to KICKS for Kids and ArtFul Visual Arts Initiative.
