Orianthi

Rock guitarist, Orianthi, boasts a wildly dynamic career that has landed her at the top of guitar lists across the world. Whether playing lead guitar for Michael Jackson, Alice Cooper, or Carrie Underwood, Orianthi seems right at home. Earlier this year, to celebrate her 25th anniversary as a professional musician, Orianthi wrote, produced and recorded the single “First Time Blues,” featuring guitar prodigy Joe Bonamassa.

Orianthi was featured accompanying Carrie Underwood during th 2009 Grammy Awards telecast, performed on American Idol in 2010, and appeared in Michael Jackson’s documentary concert film, “This Is It.” Elle magazine named Orianthi one of the “12 Greatest Female Electric Guitarists” and she won the 2010 “Breakthrough Guitarist of the Year” award from Guitar International magazine.
