The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum
Join us for an after-hours gathering at The Aldrich featuring music and art-making inspired by the current exhibition, 52 Artists: A Feminist Milestone, and enjoy a drink in our Sculpture Garden! Bernie Williams & His Band of Friends Breathless Concert

Bernie Williams is back with another star-studded day featuring celebrities from the worlds of sports and music, all to benefit the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (PFF). The day begins with a celebrity softball game on the ballfield next to The Ridgefield Playhouse with Bernie and his bandmates, along with special guests scheduled to play, followed by a VIP BBQ and concert. The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum
Visit the Museum for free on the third Saturday of every month. Participate in a Story Time at 10:30 am, a family-friendly tour of 52 Artists: A Feminist Milestone at 1 pm, and drop-in to The Studio for a guided family-friendly art-making activity from 12 noon to 4 pm. Generous support for Third Saturdays is provided by The Ridgefield Thrift Shop, Fairfield County Bank, and The Cowles Charitable Trust. Get tickets

Concert for the Community
Saturday, August 20th
Ballard Park
Join the Ridgefield Theater Barn for an evening concert featuring the area’s finest voices hosted by Pamme Jones and Duane Lanham, with musical direction by Lisa Hobbs and accompaniment by Rodney Loren. Pack a picnic and bring your chairs to enjoy an evening of outstanding music in the center of our beautiful town of Ridgefield. Admission is free, donations welcome. Reservations are required. Best of RIFF Shorts Fest
Sunday, August 21st
The Ridgefield Playhouse
Join Ridgefield Independent Film Festival as we ask, and attempt to answer, the question “Are The Kids All Right?” Funded by a grant from CT Humanities we will screen 9 exceptional short films from our 7-year history and discuss the history and cinematic language of youth culture in film with filmmakers and film critic, Joe Meyers and moderated by Lisa Cambridge-Mitchell. Concert for the Community

Art Walk 2022
Begins Friday, August 26th
Downtown Ridgefield
Join The Ridgefield Guild of Artists in their 9th Annual Art Walk, when the streets of downtown Ridgefield turn into a strolling art gallery. Art Walk Ridgefield kicks off on Friday, August 26 with artist meet and greets outside the stores and continues Saturday, August 27 with an artist’s day. Demonstrations are also planned outside storefronts in town on Saturday. Learn more

Sundays at the Schoolhouse
Sunday, August 28th
Peter Parley Schoolhouse
Join the Ridgefield Historical Society and visit the Peter Parley Schoolhouse. Admission is free. Jack and Sally Sanders, who help oversee the schoolhouse for the Ridgefield Historical Society, will be on hand to welcome guests and answer questions. Sundays at the Schoolhouse are supported by Fairfield County Bank. Learn more

Weir Farm National Historical Park
Join us every Friday evening to unwind, renew and reconnect to nature in the serenity of Weir Farm National Historical Park’s stunning gardens.
