Happy June! There’s no better way to kick off summer than with a day in Ridgefield. Our town has many exciting events and special activities planned for the month that are sure to help you get into the summer groove.  So, mark your calendars and enjoy Ridgefield!

One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest
Ridgefield Theater Barn
Now-June 22nd
The Ridgefield Theater Barn will be performing One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest on their main stage. Based on the film, this dramatic play explores institutionalism and celebrates humanity. The Theater Barn offers cabaret seating and guests are welcome to bring their own food and drink.

The RGA will be hosting their annual juried show featuring fantastic artwork by their members. This year Isabella Garrucho, a renowned art consultant and gallery owner from Greenwich, CT, will jury the show.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

Enjoy live theater in Ridgefield! ACT will be presenting the Tony-Award winning musical, 25th Annual Putnam Country Spelling Bee! Featuring a fast-paced, wildly funny, and vibrant score by William Finn, this bee is one unforgettable experience.

Ridgefield Academy’s Annual Touch-A-Truck

Ridgefield Academy welcomes children of all ages to their annual Touch-A-Truck event. A variety of construction and emergency vehicles will be on location and children are encouraged to touch, climb, and learn.

Get your heart pumping with Ridgefield’s annual triathlon and duathlon. Participants will bike, swim, and run on the lovely Martin Park Beach and throughout our town.

Battle of the Chefs
Founders Hall

Now in its 7th year, Battle of the Chefs is a marquee culinary event that features local Ridgefield chefs in a fast-paced cooking showdown. There are three phases to the battle: appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Come watch as some of the best chefs in town compete! All proceeds from the event go to benefit Founders Hall.

Join the Ridgefield Library for their folk live music series! This concert features the award-winning musician and singer, Ernest Troost.

2nd Annual Charity Poker Night

Hosted by the Ridgefield Library, the 2nd Annual Poker Night includes a poker tournament, delicious food, and live entertainment. After the event expenses, the winning charity will receive 50% of the evening’s profits.

CT Open House Day at Keeler Tavern

Come join Keeler Tavern for a day-long celebration of everything that makes Connecticut great! Keeler Tavern will be offering free admission to its museum on CT Open House Day.

Celebrate the opening of Sara Cwynar’s first East Coast museum exhibit with The Aldrich!  Cwynar’s practice spans photography, video installation, and bookmaking.

Join The Aldich as they enjoy the abundance of the season with an unforgettable dining experience in The Sculpture Garden. Guests will have a locally sourced three-course dinner prepared by Hayfields Market.
