Every year, the Ridgefield Bicycle Sport Club hosts a Triathlon called TriRidgefield. It includes a half-mile swim, a 12.75-mile bike ride, and a 5k run. Registration for the Triathlon usually opens in January and the competition takes place in June. In addition to the Triathlon, individuals can compete in a Duathlon on the same day. The Duathlon consists of 2 mile run, a 12.75-mile bike, and a 3.1 mile run.
