Ridgefield contains about 5,200 acres of open space. In order to help visitors and residents explore all of the town’s nature surroundings, the Ridgefield Conservation Commission created the Ridgefield Walk Book in 2016. This Walk Book contains complete descriptions of all the open spaces and hiking trails within the town’s boundaries. Also, the Ridgefield Walk Book has detailed maps of all the hiking trails in Ridgefield.
Printed copies of the Walk Book are available at the Conservation Commission’s office in the Town Hall Annex, Books on the Common, and Squash’s Ridgefield Office Supply.
Also, check out the Ridgefield Conservation Commission’s open space catalog for more information on the nature trails in town.
