Visitors and residents can enjoy some aquatic fun in Ridgefield’s parks. Fishing is allowed in both Bennett’s Pond State Park and Seth Low Pierrepont State Park. Visitors are also welcome to bring their boats to Seth Low Pierrepont State Park to cruise around the serene Lake Naraneka. For those interested in kayaking and paddle boarding, Ridgefield has the beautiful Martin Park Beach, which features a natural, spring-fed pond. Visitors can swim in the pond or head over to the recreation center to swim in their 25-yard long pool.
