Summer Camps in Ridgefield in 2021

Summer will be here before we know it, and there’s no doubt that our kids will be looking forward to all the activities and fun that summer camp has to offer! Thanks to our many organizations in Ridgefield, camps will allow for a safe experience for our kids while providing them with a summer experience they won’t forget. Registrations fill up quickly and spaces may be limited, so don’t wait to register the kids for camp this summer!

ACT of CT: Summer Performance Camp
The ACT of CT’s 2021 Summer Performance Camp will bring a cast of campers from 2nd to 5th grade together for two weeks (July 26 – August 7, 2021) to rehearse and perform a brand-new original musical called Timberland. Campers will learn basic musical theatre skills including beginning vocal technique, choreography, and improvisation. Additional theater activities and workshops will be incorporated into the camp schedule including theater games and special guests. Learn more and register

Bach 2 Rock Ridgefield: Summer Camp Programs
Bach to Rock in Ridgefield provides music lessons for students of all ages and skill levels teaching instruments including guitar, piano, drums, voice, DJ, violin, trumpet, and more. Back 2 Rock is offering In-Person and Online Music Camps this year. Learn more and register

Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield
Boys & Girls Club will host an 8-week camp that will run from June 21st to August 13th from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Camp Aldrich
Camp Aldrich will be held July 19th through August 6th, 2021 for children entering grades 1-6. Each week is unique, inspired by the Museum’s current exhibitions and specific age groups. Campers will explore the galleries with teaching artists and educators, create dynamic works of art, move their bodies through mindful activities and games, discover new ways to make art, and build friendships along the way. The experience will culminate on Friday evenings with an art show of campers’ creative projects. Learn more and register

Camp Landmark
Landmark Preschool is an independent day school serving children ages 1 – 5. Affiliated with Ridgefield Academy, Landmark has three campuses located in Bedford, NY, Ridgefield, and Westport. Drama Discovery
Drama Discovery is offering fabulous summer programs for children interested in performing arts including dance, singing, and acting. Each week is a new play based on popular children’s characters and beloved classics. Enroll your child for one week or more, no experience required. Learn more and register

Enchanted Garden

Summer Enrichment @ Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center
Kids in grades 1-6 are invited to join the Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center this summer for four interactive weeks of historic and place-based exploration. Each week, kids will examine documents, participate in activities and discover the history of local streets. Set outdoors on our four-acre historic grounds, museum staff have tailored their specialty summer programming to give children a safe space for fun and educational summer activities. Ridgefield Academy Summer Camp
Summer camps enrollment is now open for children entering kindergarten through 8th grade. The programs offer a fun-filled summer of interesting programs, physical activity, and educational challenges. Camp sessions begin June 14th. Learn more and register

Ridgefield Guild of Artists: Summer Programs
The Ridgefield Guild of Artists will have a fun filled summer art experience for children ages 8-14 from July 13th through August 3rd. They will be offering a general, all around art program with a different theme each week including wearable art, murals, kinetic art, paper sculpture, clay casting, cyanotypes, water balloon art, basic painting and drawing, and more. Ridgefield Parks & Recreation
Adventure Day Camp will be available for students in preschool through 6th grade. Campers will have a fantastic time playing games, creating artwork, exploring the outdoors, and making new friends. Outdoor Adventures Camp for Teens and Project Outreach for ages 12-15 will be available for teens, and registration for these programs is only available in person at the Recreation Center. Ridgefield Theater Barn
RTB Kids is currently offering a Summer Broadway Workshop for 2021! The workshops are for students in 3rd to 8th grade and there are two sessions to choose from. In this musical theater workshop, kids will work on an original show, Kids on Broadway, to be performed for friends & family on our outdoor stage on the last day of the session! This workshop will take place primarily on our outdoor campus, with minimal time indoors. Learn more and register

School of Rock Ridgefield
School of Rock Ridgefield offers a wide variety of music camps and workshops perfect for musicians of any skill level who want to play guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and vocals. Summer camps will run July through August. Learn more and register

Woodcock Nature Center
Have fun and make friends while exploring Woodcock Nature Center’s 150-acres with programs that will teach campers all about their natural environment through animal encounters, nature crafts, hiking, kayaking on our pond, wilderness skills and more.
