The Ridgefield Independent Film Festival will be bringing films and filmmakers from around the world to Ridgefield, CT!
From October 18th to October 21st, Ridgefield will be bustling with filmmakers, screenwriters, directors, producers, and innovative films. The Ridgefield Independent Film Festival or RIFF celebrates independent films from around the world that enlighten, entertain, and inspire moviegoers through compelling visual storytelling. This annual four-day festival not only includes screenings and world premieres, but also panel discussions, meet and greets, and nightly parties.
Venues are all within walking distance and include the Ridgefield Playhouse, Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum, Ridgefield Library, Keeler Tavern Museum, the Ridgefield Conservatory of Dance, and the Ridgefield Theater Barn. RIFF was founded in 2016 by Ridgefield playwright and theatre director Joanne Hudson. For 2018, RIFF is being re-imagined by a new creative team with decades of experience in entertainment and publishing.
