Ridgefield's Annual Turkey Trot

As we enter the heart of the fall season, it is time put on a few extra layers, start baking those apple pies, and prepare to give thanks. Ridgefield has many exciting events and special activities going on throughout November that are sure to entertain and get you set for the holiday season. Mark your calendars and explore all that Ridgefield has to offer before autumn ends.

Cops + Robbers 5K
Ridgefield Police Benevolent Association
November 4th
Can you outrun the police? The Ridgefield Police Benevolent Association hosts this fun and unique 5K that benefits the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury. The runners get a head start, then the Ridgefield Police Officers “give chase!”

Ridgefield Chorale’s Fall Concert- “Always Something Sings”

Join the Ridgefield Chorale for their annual fall concert. This year their concert “Always Something Sings” will focus on the connection of life and human experience as well as the presence of music all around us.

Festive Home
Ridgefield Guild of Artists
November 17th to December 23rd 
Come see the twinkling lights and fabulous decorations at the Ridgefield Guild of Artists’ 14th Annual Festive Home. This year’s theme is “All That Glitters” and RGA is glamming up their galleries to showcase incredible artwork as well as traditional and contemporary holiday gift items.

37th Annual Turkey Trot
Boys & Girls Club of Ridgefield
November 22nd
Celebrate Thanksgiving with the Boys & Girls Club! Before you sit down for a turkey dinner, take part in the Club’s 37th Annual Turkey Trot. The race is a 5K that will take you all around Ridgefield.

Tree Lighting Activities
Lounsbury House
November 23rd
After the tree lighting at Town Hall, make your way over to Lounsbury House. Santa and Mrs. Clause will be on hand for pictures and there will also be delicious holiday treats, sparkling decorations, and a few carols.

Ridgefield Holiday Stroll

November 30th & December 1st
Kick off the holiday season with the Ridgefield Holiday Stroll! This beloved town-wide event will have horse-drawn carriage rides, magic shows, photos with Santa, special holiday sales, music, food, drink, and much more!

Events at The Aldrich
The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum

The Aldrich will be bustling with special activities and wonderful exhibits throughout November. In addition to kid-friendly workshops and artist discussions, The Aldrich will be hosting a festive holiday party for their members.

The Playhouse has a great line-up of entertainment for the month of November. Renowned musicians, singers, dancers, and comedians will all be taking center stage. Some highlights include Gladys Knight, Bebe Neuwirth, TOTO, and the Marshall Tucker Band.
