Hosted by the Western Connecticut Youth Orchestra
The Charles Ives Music Festival (CIMF) at the Western Connecticut Youth Orchestra explores the history and legacy of American composer Charles Ives through concerts and educational events. CIMF’s Summer 2021 Artist Concert Series, called “The Promise of Living,” is a homage to the movement of the same title from Aaron Copland’s opera, The Tender Land.
Saturday, August 7th @ 4:00pm and 7:30pm
Outdoors at the Ridgefield Playhouse Tent
Enjoy this special performance at the Ridgefield Playhouse Tent! Since releasing his five-times-platinum debut single “Home” after winning American Idol in spring 2012, Phillip Phillips has released two chart-topping albums and taken his expansive brand of earthy, guitar-fueled rock to stages across the globe.
