Fall in Love with Ridgefield Weekend

October 18th & 19th
Ridgefield’s annual fall event is coming up! It starts Friday, October 18th and will end on Saturday, October 19th. There will be many fun activities such as pumpkin painting, haunted hayrides on Friday night, window painting on Saturday, and Keller Tavern’s scarecrow contest. 

Drink and Draw: Halloween Edition
The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum
October 24th
Enjoy a spooky, Halloween-themed Drink & Draw. With wine, snacks, and a live model in costume, this is an evening you won’t want to miss! Experiment with a variety of materials such as charcoal, pastel, graphite sticks, and watercolor, or feel free to bring your own materials. 

The Annual Halloween Walk in Downtown Ridgefield

The festival fall celebration kicks off with the Halloween Walk in downtown Ridgefield when local merchants, some in costumes, will open their doors to Ridgefield’s finest trick-or-treaters who are dressed in their Halloween best and celebrating the colorful season of fall.

Experience the spirits of Ridgefield’s past! Visit historic rooms and the people who lived in the Keeler Tavern during the 18th and 19th centuries.

Trunk or Treat
Lounsbury House
October 31st
Enjoy free Halloween fun sponsored by the Ridgefield Police Department at the Lounsbury House. This is a community party planned and organized by Ridgefield Police Officers and Ridgefield teens. There will be tons of candy, glow necklaces, balloon twisters, music, and even a gypsy fortuneteller. Many of the town’s organizations will be taking part in this event. 

Trick or Treat at The Aldrich
The Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum

This will be an evening full of fun, excitement, and of course, candy! Wander through the Sculpture Garden with friends and family to find different candy stations, relax for a moment in the courtyard, and pose in your costume in front of the hand-painted, spooktacular photo backdrops!

Pick out the perfect pumpkin for carving with friends and family! The pumpkin patch is open Monday & Tuesday: 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Wednesday – Friday: 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm, and Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.
