Virtual History Trivia 2021

This year’s online trivia contest is dedicated to Charlie Pankenier, a beloved docent and historian, and KTM&HC’s Quizmaster. One of Charlie’s particular areas of interest was the American Civil War. During his lifetime, he walked over 40 battlefields, following in the footsteps of Civil War soldiers. In memory of Charlie, this year’s trivia questions will be about Ridgefield and Connecticut’s involvement in the Civil War. Trivia questions will be sent out daily from April 1st to April 30th.

The questions in the 2021 edition of Virtual History Trivia were researched by Terrie Roese. “It is my honor and privilege to follow in Charlie Pankenier’s footsteps to assemble this year’s online trivia questions,” says Terrie. “We selected the theme of the Civil War—a subject of great interest to Charlie. I always jump at the opportunity to do historic research, and I especially enjoyed gathering the questions for 2021. I hope you will join us and enjoy participating during the month of April.”
