Been meaning to get your finances in order? You’re in luck – April is Financial Literacy Month, and the Ridgefield Library has a great selection of free workshops to help get you there. From personal finance workshops to programs designed to help Teens & kids learn about money, we’ve got you covered!

1.  Financial Fitness Checkup: Monday, April 10 @ 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM

This workshop will help you review your status and identify actions you can take to improve your financial situation in areas such as general money management, saving, credit, debt, and other topics.

Supported by the Ridgefield Thrift Shop.

2.  Tracking Your Personal Finances with Excel – Part One: Tuesday, April 11 @ 6:00 – 7:30 PM
During this class, an assortment of important Excel features will be used to develop some simple spreadsheets to keep track of expenses, credit cards, bill due dates, etc.
Funded by the Paul and Johanna Laszig Fund.
3.  Quicken – An Overview:  Thursday, April 13 @ 6:00 – 7:00 PM
Have you ever wondered whether the very popular program, Quicken, might be just what you are looking for to help you manage your home finances? Many of the highlights of the program will be demonstrated to provide a sense of the broad capabilities of this classic program.
