Join Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center and Fraunces Tavern Museum on Tuesday, March 9, at 6:30 pm EST for a discussion with food scholar Scott Alves Barton about African American Foodways, the study of how recipes, cooking and eating methods, and traditions develop over time and provide another instance in which African Americans creatively preserve African culture within the context of slavery.
