“Old News Is Good News” is the theme for the Ridgefield Historical Society’s fundraising event, the first in the organization’s 20-year history, which will take place Sunday, May 30th.
We hope you will join us on the holiday weekend! Take a night off from the grill and let us provide dinner and a movie. All you need to do is pick up your catered meal at the Scott House on the afternoon of Sunday, May 30th, and sit back and enjoy the show. The event includes a 3-course dinner (salad, choice of entree, dessert) by Sarah Bouissou, a video intro featuring a welcome from our President and century-old newspaper readings from our archives, and the feature film: News of the World starring Tom Hanks.
All proceeds support the Ridgefield Historical Society’s mission to preserve, interpret, and foster public knowledge of Ridgefield’s historical, cultural, and architectural history.
*Intro program, movie link, and passcode will be sent by email the day before the event. You will have access to the film starting on Sunday, May 30 at 12:01 am through Tuesday, June 1 at 11:59 pm.
