Nature, Stories, & Art: A New Mixed Media Workshop

Teens and adults are encouraged to register for this new workshop, where Artist Alissa Siegal empowers you to share stories through mixed media art-making. Create a narrative tapestry, inspired by the powerful story quilts of artist Faith Ringgold. Siegal will introduce participants to the flora and fauna of Weir Farm, using nature, biodiversity, and the fragility of the natural world as inspiration. Siegal will guide participants through sketching, painting, and fabric work to create a narrative tapestry that highlights personal connections to the natural environment.
