Juror: Lisa Cooper of Elisa Contemporary Art Gallery

Art has always been an essential part of Lisa’s life. She grew up surrounded by artists and prior to opening Elisa Contemporary Art Gallery, spent over 20 years in key marketing roles for top brands, including IBM, JP Morgan Chase, and Mercedes-Benz.

Lisa launched Elisa Contemporary Art in November 2007 and the Elisa Contemporary Art Gallery was opened in September 2008 in Riverdale, NY. The gallery mission is to present art that transforms lives, and an integral element of that is helping others. A portion of gallery sales are donated to philanthropic organizations that help children and families within underserved communities heal and grow through their experience with art.
The gallery has curated over 40 exhibits in public and private art spaces within the Tri-State area, and participated in Art Fairs in New York, the Hamptons and Miami. 

Elisa Contemporary Art is also a featured gallery on1stdibs.
In addition to the gallery, in 2017 Lisa opened an Art Salon in Fairfield CT. At her Art Salon, she has hosted a series of events and talks on Art Collecting and Interior Design.Lisa was a founding member of the New York Chapter of the Association of Women Art Dealers. She is currently a member of the Arts & Architecture Review Committee at Saint Peter’s Church in Manhattan, Art Table, and the Cultural Alliance of Fairfield County.
