Love collecting? So do we! Participants in these programs will learn about and make their own cabinets of curiosities. These displays, which reached the height of their popularity in the 19th century, were how many people – from royalty to amateur scientists – proudly showed off their collections. People collected all sorts of things: from natural specimens to human-made objects, from ancient artifacts to the newest technological wonders. Over the week, campers will participate in a variety of activities to collect and curate objects, building their own cabinet.
Cost: $300 for one week, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily; OR select the extended care option, $350 for one week, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Discounts available for members and families registering multiple children.
