This year’s July 4th celebrations will be different, but no less patriotic.

Join us for a virtual celebration from the safety and comfort of your home and enjoy:

  • A dramatic reading of the Declaration of Independence followed by the ceremonial slicing of a watermelon with Don Daughters and Mark Blanford outside the historic Keeler Tavern. This video will premiere LIVE.
  • Watch Patty Linnon, Cheryl Crowl, and Carol prepare an old-fashioned picnic and learn how to make such delectable dishes as corn pone, watermelon pickles, apple pandowdy, and a special roast pork!
  • Flag Etiquette – hear Hilary Micalizzi tell you about the history of the Stars & Stripes and how to make a special flag craft.
  • Listen to the Angry O’Haras play some favorite Bluegrass tunes.
  • Watch a video about flag retirement with the Marines Corps, and
  • Enjoy a slideshow of past July 4th celebrations at KTM&HC
