While there’s nothing like a bounty of fresh summer tomatoes, berries, and other glorious produce, fall brings us squash, Brussels sprouts, and cranberries, those tart ruby-red jewels of the season. When it’s cranberry season, you can rest assured that we’ll be using those tart ruby-red jewels to make batches of our renowned Keeler Tavern Museum & History Center Cranberry Chutney just in time for you to serve for Thanksgiving. The chutney is made using a historic recipe from the Keeler Tavern files. Chutney will be available starting Thursday, November 19. The week of Thanksgiving, you’ll be able to pick up chutney orders at the Visitor Center Monday, November 23, through Wednesday, November 25, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. We’ll also be selling the chutney at the Holiday Boutique in the Barn. Chutney is $10 per 8-oz. container.
