National Poetry Month Comes to 06877
Ridgefield’s Ira Joe Fisher, author of four books of poems and a collection of essays, will present an evening of verse – his and others – to commemorate these 30 poetic days (hoping they will seep into the other eleven months of the year.) April is National Poetry Month.
Ira teaches poetry and creative writing at UConn, Mercy College, and Founders Hall. And he hopes to touch your heart and ear with poems …of smiles and frowns and tears and tales.
