Holiday Drive-Thru Teddy Bear Tea & Storytime with Mrs. Claus

 

Lounsbury House has adapted its beloved annual Teddy Bear Tea for 2020 as a joyful drive-thru pick-up of delectable holiday treats & goodies for children on Sunday, December 20^th from 10am-2pm. The fun all takes place from the comfort of pre-registered family vehicles (car décor welcome!), cars enter from Lounsbury’s southside (Market Street) entrance, follow the driveway and take in the spectacular display of House lights & garland, stop at front entrance to safely receive holiday greeting and pre-packaged gift box of treats — all under the watchful eye of Mrs. Claus. Cars exit safely through northern lot (Veterans Park side). Later on, children and their families may listen in as Mrs. Claus (played by the talented Christine O’Leary) reads classic holiday storybooks, creatively pre-recorded by Daniel C. Levine of ACT Theatre of CT.

 

Tickets must be purchased in advance for $20pp and each includes a decorated gingerbread box of cookie treats, apple juice box, holiday coloring book with crayons, and virtual story time with Mrs. Claus that families may watch together at their convenience (link will be provided to attendees).
