Legendary Squeeze frontman, Glenn Tilbrook, kicks off his fall US tour at The Ridgefield Playhouse – his only Connecticut tour stop!  As half of the iconic songwriting team Difford & Tilbrook of beloved pop legends Squeeze, Glenn Tilbrook has written some of the most enduring pop classics of the ’80s UK New Wave invasion with such global hits as “Tempted” “Black Coffee In Bed,” “Pulling Mussels (From the Shell)” and many more!  This show features Squeeze classics as well as materials from Tilbrook’s solo career.  Squeeze formed in the mid-1970s and broke through in the new wave era at the decade’s end. Tilbrook generally wrote the music for Squeeze’s songs, while his writing partner, Chris Difford, wrote the lyrics. In addition to his songwriting skills, Tilbrook is respected as both a singer and an accomplished guitarist. Don’t miss the chance to see a legend LIVE on stage!
