Gardening Tips with Lynn Becker

Lynn Becker, a member of Congregation Shir Shalom of Westchester and Fairfield Counties, will share her expert tips on landscaping in a sustainable, low maintenance, environmentally friendly and beautiful way at a June 23 presentation at the temple.

Start time is 3 p.m. A $10 donation is suggested. Sweet and green treats will be served.

Before founding her company, Trout Lily Garden Design, in 2012, Ms. Becker was an attorney, executive recruiter, and a writer. She studied horticulture and landscape design at the New York Botanical Garden and at the Westchester Native Plant Center.

Currently, she serves on the Water and Land Use Task Force of Bedford 2020, a coalition to create a sustainable community that conserves its natural resources. Ms. Becker is on the executive board of the Katonah Village Improvement Society, and is a past board member of the Bedford Audubon Society.
