Ridgefield is coming up spring, thanks to the team at Downtown Ridgefield who have planned the 2021 Spring Stroll. As in years past, it will be a day to celebrate community!
Ribbons will again adorn downtown lampposts signaling the Spring Stroll is nearing! Here are some Event Highlights:
Chalk Art Project: Mark Panzarino, a professional chalk artist, will be doing a special sidewalk art chalk project in the village. In addition, scattered throughout the downtown area will be 12 additional sidewalk chalk artists including RHS students.
Carnival performers including stilt walkers and jugglers will be strolling throughout town
Scavenger Hunt: Attendees can participate in a fun Scavenger Hunt (complete with prizes!)
Music: Adding his usual pizzazz and fun will be local DJ Big Daddy Sean McKee performing from 10am till 4pm at Town Hall.
Signing of the International Charter for Compassion: At 4:00, the community is invited to the Town of Ridgefield’s Signing of the International Charter for Compassion at Town Hall.
Ridgefield Library: “On the Wall” outdoor book sale during the Stroll, from 11 am to 3 pm! This is a Friends of the Ridgefield Library fundraiser.

Hutton’s Fine Men’s Wear will be hosting a good old-fashion sidewalk sale.
Elizabella’s Bake Shop will have a safe summer tea sampling along with their own sidewalk sale.
Audrey Road will be having giveaways along with their own outdoor market!
Sedona Art will be selling sidewalk chalk in conjunction with the sidewalk chalk competition – a “$5 Bucket with a $5 Bonus” – a $5 gift certificate to the store to be used at a later date.
They will also have a “Ten Dollar Table” with an assortment of colorful items for any age to “inspire the inner artist.” Just in time for Mother’s Day!
Books on the Common will be offering a Mystery Date with a Book! Spend $25 or more & choose a wrapped, pre-publication book!
