The Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra’s commitment to world-class performances of marvelous music is our history and our future! Under the direction of Maestro Yuga Cohler, the orchestra, along with renowned soloists and special guest artists, presents extraordinary evenings of music sure to engage, entertain and inspire all music lovers.
Join us for a performance of DESTINY on Saturday, February 11th @ 7:30pm. Raffle & Wine Pull in the lobby 6:00-7:30 PM before the concert and at intermission to support RSO performance and outreach programs.
The RSO is excited to present acclaimed pianists Christina and Michelle Naughton in concert with the Ridgefield Symphony Orchestra, performing Concerto for Piano Four Hands by Carl Czerny.
What is Piano Four Hands? It is a type of piano duet involving two players playing the same piano simultaneously. Music written for piano four hands is usually printed so that left-hand pages contain only the part for the pianist sitting on the left, while right-hand pages contain only the part for the pianist sitting on the right.
A unique and different concert you won’t want to miss! Also on the program Overture to The Barber of Seville by Rossini and Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5.
