In recognition of Juneteenth
FREE EVENT FOR THE COMMUNITY! PLEASE CALL THE BOX OFFICE AT 203.438.5795 TO RESERVE YOUR SEAT.
The bonus content for DEAR WHITE PEOPLE will consist of an interview led by entertainment reporter Cheryl Washington and can be seen following the screening in the theater or on our YouTube channel.
DEAR WHITE PEOPLE is a 2014 satirical dark comedy-drama film focused on escalating racial tensions at a fictitious, prestigious Ivy League college. The students navigate a confused and messy landscape of bias, injustice, activism and politics on campus, and reckon with the absurdities and realities of a modern “post-racial” society. Written, directed and co-produced by Justin Simien and starring Tyler James Williams, Tessa Thompson, Kyle Gallner, Teyonah Parris, Brandon P. Bell, Brittany Curran and Dennis Haysbert.
