Celebrating the 40th anniversary of his self-titled debut album, Christopher Cross will bring his hits “Arthur’s Theme”, “Ride Like the Wind” and “Sailing” to The Ridgefield Playhouse. Bursting onto the music scene with his 1980 Cross won five Grammy Awards, including—for the first time in Grammy history—the “Big Four” most prestigious awards: Record of the Year (for the single “Sailing”), Album of the Year, Song of the Year (also “Sailing”), and Best New Artist. In a career spanning over five decades, Cross has sold over 10 million albums and in addition to five Grammys he has earned an Oscar, a Golden Globe, an Emmy nomination and five Top Ten singles.
