PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO THE STORM, THIS CONCERT WILL BE HELD AT THE RIDGEFIELD PLAYHOUSE!
With storm threat still hanging over us for this evening and a band that we believe you’re going to want to see again and again, we are not taking a chance on having to cancel its first Ridgefield show. Please come out and join us at The Ridgefield Playhouse this evening. Eat first. Remember no outside food or drink may be brought into the playhouse. However concessions and beer and wine are available for purchase. Doors open at 6:30.
Once again, thank you to the amazing volunteers at Ridgefield Thrift Shop who have underwritten this concert.
CHIRP CONCERTS BEGIN AT 7:00 PM!
CHIRP will present free outdoor family concerts open to the public in Ridgefield’s Ballard Park every Tuesday and Thursday from June 6 through August 31, 2023. Help bring FREE concerts to everyone! Please donate to CHIRP and like us on Facebook for the most up-to-date information.
About The Wilder Blue: Sharp storytelling. Gripping and gorgeous five-part harmonies. Arrangements that can swing between fun, engaging and lively one moment and stirring, booming and chill-inducing the next. This is The Wilder Blue who put their own spin on rock-influenced country.
Generously underwritten by the amazing volunteers of the Ridgefield Thrift Shop.
A note about parking:
Folks, parking has become a big concern so please adhere to the following:
Passengers & Coolers may be dropped off at the CVS entrance to Ballard Park. From there, please follow the directions on the signs and of the parking enforcement personnel to locate parking. Please be considerate and do not park in front of open restaurants anywhere in town unless you are also eating there.
About CHIRP
CHIRP is an acronym for Concert Happenings in Ridgefield’s Parks and was begun in the summer of 2002 to foster a stronger sense of community among residents and to enhance Ridgefield’s much treasured “small town feel.” Its concerts seek to bring townspeople together in a relaxed atmosphere comfortable for people of every economic strata, age bracket and ethnicity. Its mission is to afford them the opportunity to hear and hopefully to enjoy a variety of world and alternative music only infrequently performed in this area.
