Please join us on Saturday, October 29th at the Ridgefield Library as we celebrate the life of trees with a forestry talk and reception for a new art exhibition featuring trees and nature.

Forestry Talk: 2:00 – 3:00 pm

Dr. Danica Doroski, Urban Forestry Coordinator for the State of Connecticut, will talk about the important role trees play with regard to climate change in the urban environment. Please register.

Artist’s Reception: 3:00 – 4:30 pm

Roberta Shea’s Autumn Refrain exhibition will be on view in the Library’s Lower Level Gallery from October 28th to November 29th. With her passionate and perceptive observations of trees and nature, Shea has developed a signature style of colorful, highly textured oil paintings inspired by both Abstract Expressionism and Impressionism.
